Etymology

The company was named after its sole founder, Rosauro dela Rosa, who is also an owner of provincial bus company, N. Dela Rosa Liner.

History

The bus company was founded in 1991 by Rosauro Dela Rosa, a native of Biñan, Laguna.

The company has opened a provincial operation in 1997, plying routes to Batangas and Quezon provinces.

In 2011 the bus company has opened a provincial operation includes Pangasinan, Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, Bulacan, Pampanga, La Union and Tarlac.

Fleet

Dela Rosa Transit maintains and utilizes UD Nissan Diesel, Hino, Hyundai Universe Space, and King Long units, with roughly a total number of 300 buses, including those from N. Dela Rosa Liner.
